After a complete renovation, the Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta will re-open in October 2009 and position the property as the city’s most luxurious and contemporary hotel.

The all new hotel will boast 272 spacious guestrooms including 6 suites, all of which are tastefully designed in a classic contemporary style by the renowned design firm Lim, Teo and Wilkes (LTW), combining modern facilities with Oriental heritage. All rooms will offer guests state-of-the art technology, PC and iPod connectivity, 42” LCD TV, Inncom room management system, complete surround sound systems, and mood-control lighting.

An exciting array of dining venues awaits hotel guests and domestic residents alike. The hotel will offer an inspiring range of dining experiences from Asian cuisine to European inspired dining.

The hotel is located on Jalan MH Thamrin in the heart of Jakarta’s business, government, and diplomatic districts and is within walking distance to major embassies, commercial buildings, and luxurious shopping centers. Additionally, newly-designed, renovated, and flexible conference and banquet facilities are located on one floor comprised of 1,060 square meters.
