Effective resource management over the past year includes the installation of light sensors in hallways and storage rooms, and LED lamps in emergency staircases and the garage. Orphans and street children residing in shelters (including disabled children and babies) need soap for bathing as well as washing clothes, sheets and even floors. For these children living in poverty, soap remnants often considered simply as waste become instead a lifeline to a brighter, cleaner future.
